Where is the RIGHT PLACE for me?





The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
    surely I have a delightful inheritance.
Psalm 16:6


We are constantly wondering if we are at the right place, doing the right thing, doing it the right way ... we don´t want to miss opportunities. Whenever we think about being at the right place at the right time our goal is to be where it will benefit us most. But God has a different way of thinking...

 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:9

God teaches us that is it more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35), firstly because if you are the giver it means you HAVE something to give, you are not in need - and that is wonderful; secondly because whoever sows generously will also reap generously (2 Co 9:6)- there is a law here, we sow, we REAP, it won´t fail. That means that sometimes GOD places us where we will not reap benefits for ourselves immediately. Sometimes we are placed at places where we will be the ones to bless someone who is in need and that will turn out to be our seed! 

Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.
Malachi 3:10

God´s timing is perfect. He is never late. Heaven was never meant to be a blessings storage. Our generous Father wants to pour them out in our lives.. and to acknowledge the right place to be at is crucial! A key to find it out is to constantly ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. He will take us to the right places where we will bless most and then we will reap most abundantly! This is heaven´s economy!

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
John 16:13

So let us not miss this opportunity of being at THE RIGHT PLACE. If you are wondering whether you are at the wrong place right now, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into ALL TRUTH: He will let you know if this is the right place or not, and He will let you know the reason why you are still at this place. Sometimes it is not about you. As a matter of fact, it has never been. It is all about Jesus and his plans for all humanity and He counts on you to play your role in this wonderful journey. Be blessed, therefore be a blessing!

To every thing there is a season,  and a time to every purpose under the heaven... Ecclesiastes 3:1  Nowadays one of people´s greatest excuses is: "I don´t have time". But it really amazes me  how that Jesus seemed to have time to every little and big thing as he walked on earth! Taking delight in God´s will...

I often wondered why it seemed to be so hard for us to accept God´s will.  Thinking about this, two things come to my mind: 1) Most of the time we are convinced that our own plans are the BEST way to attain our goals, to reach that place of peace and happiness; 2) We are not aware of God´s LOVE and the fact that every bit of His will has its root in HIS DEEP LOVE towards us. We have been deceived by being led to think that God only displays his will in order to mess up with our own plans. Submitting to his will often sounds like we are being nulyfied; it is usually not taken as a reason for joy, but for sorrow. BUT all that is NOT even close to THE TRUTH about God´s will for our lives. Again: we must remember that ALL HIS WILL IS ROOTED IN HIS DEEP LOVE FOR US!... We are HIS CHILDREN and every good father´s will is to do ALL HE CAN in order to cause his child to live an ABUNDANT LIFE, to prosper in ALL their ways and to be HAPPY.  So everything starts with t

Being a living magnet: attracting good things...

Surely goodness and mercy  shall follow me all the days of my life...  Psalm 23:6 One of the greatest issues in our hearts is doubting. It is like we KNOW in a way that God is good and He blesses us in many ways but we usually see it as a matter of SEASONS. There are seasons when we are happy, healthy, blessed... others not so! and this causes us not to be so SURE that things will be alright all the time .  But king David, even after facing great hardships (riots, persecution, betrayals), he would NOURISH one THOUGHT in his heart: THE ASSURANCE that God´s goodness and love would follow him ALL THE DAYS of his life. The only weapon against doubt is assurance. So we can always fight doubts in our hearts by simply declaring "SURELY his goodness and mercy will follow me"... We also see the prophet Isaiah teaching us such truth concerning our health (physical and emotional):  -Surely- he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows... (Isaiah 53:4)
