God always exceeds all expectations

...what the righteous desire will be granted. Proverbs 10:24 It is God´s good pleasure to show us more of his character in our every day life. There are two things about God that best define him: his goodness and his love.  I have loved you with an everlasting love;     I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.  Jeremiah 31:3 His kindness shows us his goodness and that causes him to see our hearts like no one else can or ever will. His pleasure is to see what is in our hearts and surprise us by giving us what we desire. Take delight in the Lord,     and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 But what is really amazing about God is that he is not limited to our expectations or desires.  The bible tells us that in Jerusalem at that time, there was a righteous man, Simeon, who lived in the prayerful expectancy of help for Israel. He desired to see the Messiah, the Savior, before he died. As the parents of the child Jesus

How not to be deceived....

But I am afraid that, even as the serpent beguiled Eve by his cunning, your minds may be corrupted  and  led away from the simplicity of pure devotion to Christ.  2 Corinthians 11:3 Our minds are under constant attack and unfortunately we live under deception most of time. That is what Paul is talking about in the scripture above. But how that happens?  The word "corrupted" mentioned means "moved down from a higher level (quality, status) to a lower form"; our minds get corrupted every time our focus turns to the negative things in our lives, for instance. That was the weapon the serpent used in order to deceive Eve.  And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may freely (unconditionally) eat [the fruit] from every tree of the garden...  Genesis 2:16 (AMP) There was a bunch of trees that man could freely eat from. When we think of a "garden", we usually have a picture of a tiny little place with a few plants and trees...

Learning to manage time...

To every thing there is a season,  and a time to every purpose under the heaven... Ecclesiastes 3:1  Nowadays one of people´s greatest excuses is: "I don´t have time". But it really amazes me  how that Jesus seemed to have time to every little and big thing as he walked on earth! It is interesting to think that, besides all the daily concerns people normally have (working, making the bed, doing the dishes, being with family...), Jesus was here on earth as GOD as well, so we could sum up some more  concerns there!  YET, he was not moved by schedules, but by love and compassion.  When Jesus saw her, He felt great compassion for her,  and said to her, “Do not weep.”  Luke 7:13 It amazes me how that he would manage his agenda. A number of times we read passages showing that he made his communion with the Father his priority! The success of the rest of the day depended on this time of his day.  Very early in the morning, while it was still dark,
