Jesus will do what you cannot!

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man
which was blind from his birth.
John 9:1

Most of us think that in order to have good things happen in our lives we need either to be born with the right skills, or to work hard, or to be acquainted with the right people!

But Jesus doesn´t need to go through this list to bless us! In the passage above we can tell that the blind man´s chance to receive his sight was null! Maybe he didn´t even have such a strong desire about it since he had never seen and wouldn´t really know how it felt like! He probably didn´t even get to know that Jesus was passing by. From what we read, he didn´t even know who Jesus was - unlike the other blind man, Bartimaeus, who KNEW Jesus was passing by and began to SHOUT “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” (Mark 10:46-47).

So God looked on the Israelites
and was concerned about them.
Exodus 2:25

This other blind man didn´t have such information before hand! Although the blind man couldn´t see Jesus, Jesus saw the blind man! Jesus will do things we cannot do! He doesn´t depend on us to bless us!

The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry.
Psalm 34:15

Sometimes we will SHOUT, like the other blind man, and Jesus will come and bless us! Other times we just need to stand still and rely on a God whose eyes are constantly upon us!

“Be still, and know that I am God"
Psalm 46:10

As Jesus walked by he saw the blind man. Jesus would go around  very mindful of those around him and their needs! He cares for everyone´s needs and He is always willing to help us! It is His delight to come and surprise us with the very thing that will change our lives forever- like He did with the blind man!

But my God shall supply all your need
according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Phillipians 4:19

God will supply all our needs - not according to our deeds or our resources but according to HIS riches! No money in the world could make a blind man recover his sight - especially 2000 years ago!! But God did it! Trust his love and attentive look towards you, regardless of anything you may do!

The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
Nahum 1:7
