Don´t listen to them, just trust Jesus!

 Jesus overheard what they were talking about and said to the leader,
“Don’t listen to them; just trust me.”
Mark 5:36

These are the words of Jesus to a man called Jairus whose daughter was dead. Jairus came to Jesus to ask him to heal his daughter while she was still alive, but by the time they got back to his house people announced that she was dead, therefore there was no need to bother Jesus any further.

We should know that Jesus is deeply touched by things that matter to us!! He is never late and even when it seems like things got to its DEAD POINT, that there is no solution... Jesus is ALWAYS THE SOLUTION! There is nothing he can´t do, there is no situation he cannot change!

The world around us and even friends and family will try to tell us that THE GAME IS OVER, there is no HOPE. But JESUS HIMSELF IS OUR HOPE.

Sometimes the wisest thing to do is to be deaf to the world and what they say when their words don´t build us up or cause us to trust Jesus more. Whenever such words cause us to feel discouraged and lose our hope and faith, that is a good time to choose not to listen to what people say.

So, whenever FACTS or PEOPLE try to show you realities that will sadden your heart in a way that will bring you to a HOPELESS point, don´t give ear to that... but LISTEN to Jesus saying within you "trust me!".

"My son, pay attention to what I say;
    turn your ear to my words.
 Do not let them out of your sight,
    keep them within your heart;
for they are life to those who find them
    and health to one’s whole body."
Proverbs 4:20-23

Jesus´ words will never bring us down but are mighty to give health to our whole body, be it a physical or emotional condition.

Whenever we face a hard situation, let us shut our ears to what people say about it and let us open our hearts to what Jesus is saying to us.

 "What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?"
Romans 8:31-32
