DARE TO DREAM BIG!





Then Joseph had another dream, and he told it to his brothers: “I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars 
were bowing down to me." 
Genesis 37:9



Much of what we dream as we sleep results from our daily routine, thoughts and worries. But dreams can also be another form of heavenly language. Dreams prepare our hearts to things that will come to pass in our future. 

The bible is full of examples of people who were told about future situations through dreams as they slept. Joseph, one of the sons of Jacob, at the age of 17 started having some dreams. The content of all those dreams were basically that he was in a position of authority- even over his own family. That was definitely something not reasonable to think of or likely to happen considering that he was the youngest in the family. Joseph became hated by his brothers and was called a "dreamer".

But his dreams came from God and God doesn´t know boundries, nor is a respector of persons and their traditions. He has power to cause the wildest and greatest dream to come to pass, not because of what we may DO in order to achieve it, but because of what HE is ABLE to do and DESIRES to do in our lives. 

 "Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us" Ephesians 3:20


We need to be aware of the GREATNESS OF OUR GOD who is able to accomplish much more than what we ask or imagine. Therefore, we should DARE to DREAM BIGGER DREAMS (naturally speaking). We cannot control what we dream at night, but daydreaming is under our mind´s command and we should GUIDE our hearts in order to DREAM BIG, for we have a GREAT God who is MORE THAN ABLE. Plus we have not only a GREAT GOD, but He is our FATHER who is more than willing to SEE HIS CHILDREN successful and happy. His dreams for us are beautiful and we can have access to them for we are ONE with His Spirit through Jesus Christ. 

 For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Cor 2:16


 The greatest achievements in history began with people who KNEW there was more than what could already be SEEN... there was a seed of dream planted in their hearts which pointed to something GREATER: impossible to the world but POSSIBLE to their minds... we should never limit our dreams and desires to our resources and skills. Jesus is our sure source of EVERYTHING we may need and He is the one who has already granted us FULL SUCCESS in everything we do. We have the MIND of Christ ... He is the GREATEST "dreamer" and accomplisher that ever existed and HE LIVES WITHIN US and empowers us to DREAM and to ACHIEVE all these dreams. Don´t think small... for we have a GREAT God. 

"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him.
But God has revealed them to us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 1 Cor 2:9-10

Taking delight in God´s will...

I often wondered why it seemed to be so hard for us to accept God´s will.  Thinking about this, two things come to my mind: 1) Most of the time we are convinced that our own plans are the BEST way to attain our goals, to reach that place of peace and happiness; 2) We are not aware of God´s LOVE and the fact that every bit of His will has its root in HIS DEEP LOVE towards us. We have been deceived by being led to think that God only displays his will in order to mess up with our own plans. Submitting to his will often sounds like we are being nulyfied; it is usually not taken as a reason for joy, but for sorrow. BUT all that is NOT even close to THE TRUTH about God´s will for our lives. Again: we must remember that ALL HIS WILL IS ROOTED IN HIS DEEP LOVE FOR US!... We are HIS CHILDREN and every good father´s will is to do ALL HE CAN in order to cause his child to live an ABUNDANT LIFE, to prosper in ALL their ways and to be HAPPY.  So everything starts with t

Being a living magnet: attracting good things...

Surely goodness and mercy  shall follow me all the days of my life...  Psalm 23:6 One of the greatest issues in our hearts is doubting. It is like we KNOW in a way that God is good and He blesses us in many ways but we usually see it as a matter of SEASONS. There are seasons when we are happy, healthy, blessed... others not so! and this causes us not to be so SURE that things will be alright all the time .  But king David, even after facing great hardships (riots, persecution, betrayals), he would NOURISH one THOUGHT in his heart: THE ASSURANCE that God´s goodness and love would follow him ALL THE DAYS of his life. The only weapon against doubt is assurance. So we can always fight doubts in our hearts by simply declaring "SURELY his goodness and mercy will follow me"... We also see the prophet Isaiah teaching us such truth concerning our health (physical and emotional):  -Surely- he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows... (Isaiah 53:4)
