Turning your day upside down!



"This is the day which the LORD has made, 
let us rejoice and be glad in it" 
Psalm 118:24


Some days we wake up kind of mad with the world for no reason... what we don´t realize is that this is NOT NORMAL and it is NOT supposed to be like that! What we don´t realize most of time is that there is a spiritual world surrounding us 100% of the time and it is what really influences our days because -first of all- we are spiritual beings.

The GOOD NEWS is that we do not  have to be bound to this bad atmosphere that is causing this turmoil within us, but the Lord has given us DEVICES in order to CHANGE things around us! 

One of this weapons is SINGING, WORSHIPING, PRAISING JESUS for the GOOD DAY THAT HE HAS MADE! God makes no "bad day". Therefore, if we happen to wake up in a bad mood, we don´t need to end the day the same way it started! 

"Verily I say unto you, what things soever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and what things soever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." 
Matthew 18:18

The bible says that the  Lord is enthroned in the praises of his people (Psalm 22:3). So whenever we start singing and praising Him, we cause His presence to invade our atmosphere and that WILL impact our day - that will BIND AND LOOSE things on earth, changing our days!

But does that really work? Try it for yourself! Whenever you are having a bad day, start bringing Jesus´ presence by playing a worship song or singing praises to Him. Things won´t remain the same! HE guarantees you!!!

Taking delight in God´s will...

I often wondered why it seemed to be so hard for us to accept God´s will.  Thinking about this, two things come to my mind: 1) Most of the time we are convinced that our own plans are the BEST way to attain our goals, to reach that place of peace and happiness; 2) We are not aware of God´s LOVE and the fact that every bit of His will has its root in HIS DEEP LOVE towards us. We have been deceived by being led to think that God only displays his will in order to mess up with our own plans. Submitting to his will often sounds like we are being nulyfied; it is usually not taken as a reason for joy, but for sorrow. BUT all that is NOT even close to THE TRUTH about God´s will for our lives. Again: we must remember that ALL HIS WILL IS ROOTED IN HIS DEEP LOVE FOR US!... We are HIS CHILDREN and every good father´s will is to do ALL HE CAN in order to cause his child to live an ABUNDANT LIFE, to prosper in ALL their ways and to be HAPPY.  So everything starts with t

Being a living magnet: attracting good things...

Surely goodness and mercy  shall follow me all the days of my life...  Psalm 23:6 One of the greatest issues in our hearts is doubting. It is like we KNOW in a way that God is good and He blesses us in many ways but we usually see it as a matter of SEASONS. There are seasons when we are happy, healthy, blessed... others not so! and this causes us not to be so SURE that things will be alright all the time .  But king David, even after facing great hardships (riots, persecution, betrayals), he would NOURISH one THOUGHT in his heart: THE ASSURANCE that God´s goodness and love would follow him ALL THE DAYS of his life. The only weapon against doubt is assurance. So we can always fight doubts in our hearts by simply declaring "SURELY his goodness and mercy will follow me"... We also see the prophet Isaiah teaching us such truth concerning our health (physical and emotional):  -Surely- he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows... (Isaiah 53:4)
